I started making a solid wavy sweater last night and realized a few things. Aside from it being sometimes frustrating I figured out a good way to never mess up the amount of stitches in each row.
If you’ve ever crocheted so your project looks wavy, you know you have to increase at the arch of the wave and decrease in the “U” of the wave.
In order to not increase or decrease the actual amount of stitches in your rows make sure you have the same amount of increases in the arches as decreases in the “U”. You’ll always be on track this way and never mess up the stitch count.
I hope this tip helps anyone making anything wavy because I wish I would’ve know this before instead of just hoping I’m doing it right.
With care,
Alyssa
