Let’s Talk TSN

For short, I’ll call The Soulful Now, TSN. Anyway.. there are going to be a good amount of changes! I’m super excited about it because I always wanted to put positive vibes and good advice out in the world. I LOVE helping people!!

I started this page to share my work and really let my creativity grow. Well, it has! (Yay) BUT I know I can make this page do SO much more for a variety of people. I started helping by giving crochet tips, tutorials, and have one free pattern for flare jeans. Crochet is great and I love helping with it when I can. I just want to do more about the things I find important. I will continue crochet, crochet things on my page, but I will include other topics and things that I find really important/positive!

So why do I want to do more to help people and do things that aren’t related to crochet?

Long story short, I have had my fair share of mental battles. From not knowing what’s going on, to knowing but not knowing what to do or where to go about it, to learning how to manage and deal with my battles. I know there are many people out there who feel disconnected, lost, stuck in their heads/battles, or just don’t feel spiritually connected to our wonderful world.

Now before I go further, let me explain something. Spirituality and religion are separate to me. I have my faith in religion and have things I do for that but I also have things I focus on and believe in spiritually. I view spirituality as a connection to my inner self and the world around me. Becoming open-minding with spirituality has made me who I am today and made my life SO much more positive.

It’s all about your mindset. A friend helped me realize I have control over my battles and how I live/view life. Once you can change the way you think about life, you can start living your best life.

I started this journey by doing simple things. The first thing I did was step out of reality and really take in what I feel around me. I did this by sitting or standing outside, closing my eyes, letting everything go, and just feel the energies around me. I could feel the wind blowing, the warm sun on my skin, hear animals and birds chirping, and feel a sense of peace. From then on I would do this as much as possible and it taught me how to handle stressful situations or just negative moments. I was able to separate myself from what was going on around me, focus on my breathing, and collect my emotions to feel calm.

Think of it two different ways.

1. Physically stepping away, closing your eyes, inhale the good energy, exhale the bad energy.

OR (when you get to this point)

2. Take a breath in the stressful moment and exhale the stress. I have learned when I feel stress to stay in the moment, but focus on my breathing, and I stay calm.

This isn’t for everyone but it has helped me immensely on my life journey. I hope this can help you too!
